The Peloponnese region is diverse, with expansive views from hills the down to the white beach coastlines. This scenery, coupled with the some of the best restaurants around makes it an attraction for visitors in search of a luxury retreat. There are two small airports in the region, Araxos and Kalamata, however if you arrive in a larger jet then you may be better suited to fly into Athens airport then take a helicopter ride to your destination. The Amanzoe hotel, as an example, offers an on-site helicopter port to ensure a discreet and smooth journey.

There is plenty to do here, whether you are wanting an undisturbed poolside break or moving between towns to explore the culture such as Olympia (where the Olympic Games originated).

Telluride, Colorado

Located in the Rocky Mountains, this secluded ski resort offers unprecedented access to some of the best skiing and is incredibly attractive for private jet owners. The closest major airport is Montrose Regional but this is about a 90 minute drive away. Fly your private jet to Telluride and you are only a 15 minute chauffeur driven ride from the resort. The ability to land so close to a ski resort is unusual because, due to the nature of skiing, resorts are often located in treacherous landscapes with steep mountains, low visibility and freezing temperatures.

Once you are in the resort there is an array of luxury hotels, chalets and restaurants to enjoy after a long day on the slopes. Once it is time to head home you won’t have to worry about making an extensive plan for the long drive ahead and maybe a connecting flight. You can just hop on the jet and get into bed at 42,000ft!

Faroe Islands, North Atlantic Ocean

Vágar Airport is the only airport located in the Faroe Islands and you can arrive privately. An attraction to these islands is the natural beauty and dramatic landscapes that are offered. Much of the islands are boarded by steep cliff faces where the exposed rock ventures downward beneath the water. A permeating colour is green, the vastly uninhabited landscape boasts endless views. There is diverse wildlife such as the widely loved Puffin! Another attraction is Sørvágsvatn, the largest lake in the Faroe Islands.
